We provide a broad range of healthcare professionals, allowing us to build a clinical team appropriate to the size, complexity and risk profile of each event or service.
From trained first responders through to advanced practitioners, doctors and specialist critical care teams, our clinicians work within defined scopes of practice, supported by robust clinical governance, medicines management and escalation pathways.
Trained first responders providing immediate assessment and emergency care in the pre-hospital environment: recognition and initial management of medical emergencies and trauma, basic and intermediate airway management, CPR and defibrillation, and management of bleeding, shock and other time-critical conditions. Often deployed as part of a wider medical team while more senior clinical support is mobilised.
Further pre-hospital education beyond FREC 3, trained to undertake more detailed patient assessment and manage a wider range of emergency and urgent presentations. Commonly used within event medical and ambulance environments, working either independently within their defined scope or alongside technicians, paramedics and other registered healthcare professionals.
Experienced pre-hospital clinicians trained to assess, treat and monitor patients experiencing a wide range of illnesses and injuries. Our technician-level workforce may hold the established IHCD Ambulance Technician qualification or the Level 5 Diploma in First Response Emergency and Urgent Care. Commonly deployed on ambulances, in treatment centres and alongside registered clinicians.
Autonomous healthcare professionals registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. They assess, diagnose and treat a broad range of emergency and urgent conditions, including serious illness and trauma, delivering advanced clinical interventions and administering a range of medicines.
Registered professionals who have undertaken additional postgraduate, specialist or advanced education beyond their core qualification. Depending on scope, they provide enhanced management of acute illness and injury, minor illness and minor injury care, advanced physical assessment, wound management, and referral or discharge decisions. Some hold independent prescribing qualifications.
Registered professionals practising at an advanced level, typically supported by Master’s-level education or recognised equivalent capability. They undertake comprehensive assessment and complex clinical decision-making and may independently manage complete episodes of care, including advanced diagnostics, treatments and prescribing.
Senior medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and clinical decision-making across a wide range of presentations. Depending on the service, doctors provide emergency medicine, primary care, urgent care or pre-hospital expertise, and support the management of complex, critically unwell or injured patients.
Registered Nurses bring extensive skills in patient assessment, treatment and ongoing clinical care across emergency, urgent care, primary care and treatment-centre environments. Nurses with additional qualifications may practise at an enhanced or advanced level and may hold independent prescribing qualifications.
An enhanced level of care for patients with serious or immediately life-threatening illness or injury. Formed from experienced clinicians including critical care paramedics, advanced practitioners and doctors, these teams bring advanced assessment, resuscitation and critical care interventions closer to the patient.
Specialist healthcare professionals trained in diagnostic ultrasound, performing and interpreting examinations to support clinical assessment and diagnosis — giving our teams diagnostic information without the patient necessarily attending a hospital imaging department.
HCPC-registered healthcare professionals specialising in medical imaging, trained to produce and evaluate diagnostic images using X-ray and, depending on their scope of practice, CT, MRI and other modalities — supporting rapid investigation and clinical decision-making.
All clinical staff work within our governance, training and competency framework.
A multidisciplinary team allows us to build a response model that matches the risk — rather than forcing every event into the same package.
FREC 3 and FREC 4 responders provide the backbone of many event deployments.
IHCD Ambulance Technicians and FREUC 5 clinicians, as required.
HCPC-registered Paramedics for higher-acuity requirements.
GMC-registered Doctors, Registered Nurses, ANPs and Advanced Clinical Practitioners.
